Sunday 21st of April 2013 / androidforum.com
I updated my Galaxy S Plus GT I9001 to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 with CM10.1 M2 Custom ROM using TWRP recovery. Everything is working fine except for bluetooth. I tried to replace bluetooth.apkfile in device root/system/app with some .apkfile I found on one of the xda forums. But that didn't work.

Possible to root 4.1.2 on Razr Maxx?

Monday 04th of February 2013 / droidforums.net
My phone did an update a while back and I guess it went to 4.1.2 I had not rooted this previously as I was able to use foxfi - but apparently that is now owned by pDAnet, which I have used in the past - but apparently it doesnt work with Jellybean, at least for it working via wifi, opposed to bluetooth or usb tether... Do I have any options to get tether working via wifi?

Telus Milestone 2.2 Bluetooth Tethering - WORKING!

Saturday 26th of March 2011 / androidforums.com
Just did my update to 2.2, and figured that I'd give getting blue tooth tethering working again since I never got it working with 2.1. I know that 2.2 has the mobile hotspot feature, but bluetooth is much lower battery usage then the hotspot feature, from people who I've heard that got it working on other phones, pretty comparable. So after some messing around I was successful in getting it working, so I figured I'd throw this up on here so that others may be able to take advantage of the knowledge.Requirements: Android 2.2, Rooted phone (I used universal androot, superoneclick probably also works), 'tether blue free edition' from the marketSteps:1. Root your phone (if not done already)2. Install tether blu free edition3. Turn on bluetooth4. Launch the application5. Click 'start tether'6. Turn on bluetooth discoverable in the main phone settings: settings->wireless and networks->bluetooth settings7. On the device you want to tether, pair with your milestone8. You're done! This seems to work with the phone connecting to either wifi or 3G. I was using my iPad (iOS 4.3) as the devic

Bluetooth media audio not working with Parrot MKi9200

Tuesday 11th of February 2014 / androidforums.com
Phone: Nexus 5 with Andoid KitKat 4.4.2 stock firmware.Parrot MKi9200 in-car system upgraded to latest firmware, which resolved an initial inability to pair at all.Not working:1) I have to manually pair phone every time. I presume it should automatically connect to a paired device?2) After manual pairing, media audio doesn't work. The Nexus 5 thinks it it working and no audio comes from the phone, but there is no attempt to take over car audio. Nothing happens on the MKi9200 at all.Working:1) After manual pairing, I am able to get phone audio just fine. Quality seems nice and clean.Workarounds attempted:1) Reset to factory default settings, then re-pair. Didn't work for me.2) Turn off Wi-Fi. Didn't work for me.Any suggestions?
